Challenge Childrens Centre

Challenge Children's Centre is situated within the beautiful, nature filled grounds of Challenge Stadium in the suburb of Mount Claremont.  The Centre is a Long Day Care Service providing Quality Care and Education for children aged 0-5 years.  We are a 60 place Centre hosting 3 Class Rooms for age groups 0-2, 2-3, and 3-5 years.

We base our Philosophy on current theories that are at the forefront of Early Childhood Care and Education.  Such theories promote children to be independent learners and considerate people in a collaborative community environment. Our image of  children is that they are curious, competent and capable and are able to explore, discover and wonder in and around their environment.  Each Class implements a Curriculum that is formulated in a collaborative manner with staff, children and families.  The programs are meaningful to each child and promote children's interests. Each Class researches issues of learning and discovery as they arise within the group.  We encourage open-ended resources and use materials creatively.
